I OBVIOUSLY HATE THIS FOUNDATION......
I hate it so much I ended up with three shades, desperately trying to find the right shade. If you haven't already picked up on the sarcasm, I'm joking. I love this foundation. When I decided to switch to cruelty free cosmetics, this foundation filled the Loreal Pro-Matte hole in my life. I got the shade 03 Light Beige, absolutely loved it, used it all up and when it came time to getting another one, I decided to get a shade lighter. According to the Milani website, 02 Natural was yellow toned and Light Beige was neutral so I thought "Oh! I have a yellow undertone but the neutral toned foundation worked so the yellow toned one would be perfect!" Friends, I was wrong. Natural is definitely neutral/pink toned and I ended up having to buy Light Beige again.
All my classes during this fall semester are all in one building so I don't walk around campus like I used to. As ridiculous as this sounds, my skin actually got paler because I was indoors all the time and Light Beige was not working anymore. And now I'm wearing 01 Creamy Vanilla, the original lightest shade of the line. You guys, this might be the most perfect shade I've ever tried. With foundations, I'm usually in the light/medium range but the problem I have is that lighter shades tend to be more neutral or pink toned. And if there is a lone yellow toned shade, it's golden. What I like about Creamy Vanilla is that it's a light yellow, like a proper yellow. Not an orangey, golden tone. I love it. So much that I just felt the need to dedicated an entire post about why I have three shades of the same foundation. When you love something, write about it and let it live forever in the internet am I right?
