September Favorites

My September favorites are all non-beauty favorites. I know, I was shocked too. But I've been really good this month and refrained myself from buying any new products because I'm saving up for a new camera! The makeup I've been using in my routine were featured in my School Face post so you can head over there to read about them!

You guys already know this about me, but YouTube is my TV. I'll seriously spend hours just watching video after video and through my daily browse through the 'Tube I've come across some pretty awesome channels. The first one is H&M's official YouTube, hennesandmauritz, and I especially love their H&M Life videos. Similar to Glamour magazine's 'Working Girl' articles, H&M Life feature musicians, bloggers, photographers, etc. in a cool, artsy fartsy video. Teen Vogue also does something very similar to the H&M Life videos, and their little series, called 'Fashion at Work', feature interns to designers, assistants to editors, and they even had the founder of the site 'College Fashionista'. I love watching both these series of videos because it's a little peak into the world of fashion, and I'm loving it. Another YouTube discovery is Evelina. One word to describe her? ADORABLE. And European. She does fashion videos, and I've been obsessed with watching all of them.

My favorite bloggers for the past month have all been instagram favorites of mine since I've had an account. But for some reason I never ventured over onto their blogs. But with fashion week after fashion week after fashion week, I've been reading up a ton of blogs. My cousin, Etienne, lives in the Phillipines and I always love her outfit posts but she's been posting a lot more regularly now so you guys should definitely go check her out! And I've also been loving Urban Outfitters blog. They feature cool indie artists and style posts. Another website I've been hooked on during September was Company Magazine's site. You guys know I how I feel about the Brits (hint: I adore them) and they do Office Style blogs where they have daily outfits of the magazine staff!

Jollibee opened in Houston. That is all.

This is my first time having a favorite person of the month but Mabry is pretty flippin' cool so the honor goes to her! She's in yearbook with me, and she's honestly one of the most genuine people I know. And she's an awesome photographer! My other favorite person isn't really the person themself, although he is a good friend of mine,  I've been really liking his album. His name is Christian Madison and you can buy his album, Hands, off of iTunes. My favorite songs are 'I Already Miss You' and 'All I've Ever Wanted' which features my other friend Carrie!

Some more music loves are 'Classic' by MKTO, 'Once in a Lifetime' by Landon Austin, 'Million Dollar Bills' by Lorde, and 'Wrecking Ball' by Miley Cyrus. 'Once in a Lifetime' was used in FleurdeForce's wedding video and if you haven't seen it, you definitely should! And I don't care what you guys say, 'Wrecking Ball' is an awesome song.
